Sevco send out warning for the avoidance of doubt

rangers fansTroubled Sevco have fired out an angry club statement criticising two newspapers and the growing threat of internet information.

With a massive week coming up in the boardroom a seven line statement, under the headline ‘For the Avoidance of Doubt’ by an unknown author, urges supporters to disregard reports that the club is on the brink of administration and a bitter civil war among shareholders.

Widespread reports that the £22m allegedly raised in December’s share issue has already been spent goes unchallenged with one report of a proposal to sell and lease back Ibrox and Murray Park appearing to touch a raw nerve.

After the predictable threat of consulting lawyers the second line of the statement warns: “In particular, they are examining a malicious piece which seems to suggest that the Club does not own its facilities.”

Moving on to the former employer of the clubs’ director of communications the statement says: “Nor can we react to every journalist and publication who appear to pursue an anti-Rangers agenda, publications such as the Daily Record which today boasts yet another headline which does not accurately reflect what manager Ally McCoist said in his press conference yesterday.

“This paper’s intent is clear and we urge our fans to see it for what it is. If Rangers fans want the truth they will find it only on the Club’s official platforms.”

In a final warning the statement ends with: “Finally, Jack Irvine of Media House does not speak for this Club.”

Yesterday’s Herald carried a glowing profile of James and Sandy Easdale within a plea for boardroom unity and the dropping of the request for an EGM to remove three key figures from the Sevco boardroom.

The article quoted Jack Irvine as a spokesman for the Greenock based transport tycoons, until recently Media House had the contract for Ibrox PR with Irvine enjoying the friendship of Dave Murray dating back to his days as editor of the Sunday Scot.

Video Celts should concentrate on Celtic matters and only touch on Sevco when it affects us.

The implosion if a third tier club has no bearing on us.

“the implosion of a third tier club”

I’m with you on that one. The issue is though, if Sevco “returns” to the top of the premier league from which it was “relegated” by those bad men who run Scottish football we will be deafened by the roar from the Rip Van Winkles in the SMSM demanding apologies from all those who cast aspersions on that glorious club that is a metaphor for dignity. And it will be too late for us to cry foul.

I’m sure all the cyclists who competed in the Tour de France wish they had kept a closer eye on Lance Armstrong those seven years.

The five stars get transferred while the massive debt gets jettisoned and Rip Van Winkle doesn’t think this is fit for comment. I am perfectly aware that the men at the top at Celtic want Sevco in the top division, as do many Celtic supporters if we believe the posts on various sites. I, and many like me, do not. Joe speaks for us.

As they are very fond of saying down Ibrox way: “Lest we forget”.

“If Rangers (surely some mistake) fans want the truth they will find it only on the clubs official platforms”. Yeah, you orcs keep listing to Ally and Charlie, they’ll keep you right. Charlie always you tell the truth.

  • Sweeney Hughes says:

We can’t turn our backs on these lying cheating thieving bastards for a second.

All the BS from the huns about ‘obsessions’ and ‘you hate our club more than you love your own’ nonsense is for a reason, they would like nothing better than everyone to look the other way while they, the sfa, the sfpl, and Scottish football officials slice and dice the rules both on and of the park ‘to put the gers back where they belong’.

If we were not writing and reading articles like this over the past year and a half the huns would be sitting TOP of the sfpl as a debt free club, right now, would have wone the spl last season through the use of THEIR bent Scottish officials, facing a Champions League tie this week, with graham ‘the beast’ souness at the helm, having ripped everybody imaginable out of millions, Glasgow Celtic included.

      Whit he said….

    • fritzagrand says:

You dont put much faith in our team and management if you think the buns would be top of the league.

Anyhoo. Onwards and upwards. I look forward to some good reporting on Celtic transfers (in) and the CL Qualifier

      • Sweeney Hughes says:

Can you remember hun players walking out of hampden with big cheese grins on their faces fritz?
Can you remember any of ‘the shame game at all?
Can you remember dougie dougie as he blatently in your fkn face chopped up a Celtic game in an attempt to fck Celtic?
It goes all the way back to jim farry caught beliberately denying a Celtic player a license to play for just long enough for the huns to get blue fkn noses ahead?
Dallas’ sending sectarian emails on an official PC calling the Holy Father a paedophile?
Have you seen the huns struggling with their ‘transfer embargo’?
        Neither have I.

All this and much more besides will be nothing compaired to what will happen if the huns get within striking distance of the sfpl.
They’ll make TM season of ‘honest mistakes’ seem like a walk in the park.

You’re either being deliberately obtuse, you are obtuse, or you’re a fkn hun.
There seems to be a few up to their usual sleekit bs on the site this weather, IMO.

    Aye aye…

  • fritzagrand says:

The comments and fixatio ln about sevco give that club the legitimacy that them and R*****s are one and the same.

By all means comment on the liars and cheats but do not link them with the new liars and cheats that populate sevcoland.

    “Not on our radar”

    • Sweeney Hughes says:

I never refered to them once as rangers.
No fixation here m8, what I am fully aware of is the establishment trying to spray paint this showers dispicable behaviour over the last ten years and beyond never mind two yrs.
If you want the huns waltzing into the sfpl as though nothing happend, claiming the titles that rangers (IA) thieved from us over the years, with their five stars proudly displaying their stolen history which they are obviously proud of, fire in.
I remember sleekit mouthing of in the rags about laughing at our problems in the past, or dodgy dave talking abot puting a hose down the throat or a drowning man.

Whatever they call themselves now doesn’t matter imo, they have not gone away and even now, after everything, they will get every accomodation and bend and break every rule to get then back to where they think they belong.
      D’ye get it?
      BACK to where they belong!

If you’re happy about that, well I’m a different kinda guy.

As for nor having faith in.Lenny, pffffft, you’ve either not read my post properly, or you’re a fckn hun.

Sweeney,if I was a betting man…Unfortunately, I am!..I would be inclined to go along with your last line, regarding Fritzagrand’s alliegances…Fritzagrandmaster would perhaps be a more apt monicker, surprised he didn’t finish with “move along Timmy, nothing to see here” H×2

    • Andybhoy says:

I get what your saying fritzagrand, concentrating on our own club should be our top priority but what went on and still goes on at Ibrox does affect us and every other club in Scotland.

While the the club and faces that operate from the Ibrox boardroom may have changed their behaviour hasn’t and the liars and cheats pulling the strings within the corridors of Hampden on their behalf haven’t either. For this reason alone we should continue to shine as bright a light as possible on all of them.

The liars and cheats, whether past or present, at Ibrox or Hampden are all linked, they are linked by their subversive attempts to undermine the game for the benefit of one club above all others. Keeping the spotlight firmly on them makes doing this far more difficult for them and that can only be a good thing for Celtic and everyone else.

      Hail Hail.

    • Sweeney Hughes says:

So, you think that there is no-one on the board,or in the coaching staff at the hunnery who are in any way connected to rangers(IL)?

You think this is a completely different set of supporters, who wear exactly the same strips, sing the same songs and behave in the same vile toxic manner , regularly up to their knees in Fenian blood, singing songs about people connected to our club dying or dead from diseases like cancer.
Absolutely nothing to do with the club that stole from the public purse, illegally begged on the street, stole from hospitals and allegedly from several charities?

I never thought about it like that.
Mostly because it’s the biggest load of shite I’ve read for years!

‘Not on our radar’? How fkn stupid are you!

And here’s me thinking it was only gullible deluded huns who kept their heads in the sand.

      • malky says:

look we no what there all about but you dont half go on f**k sake you carry on as if its war get a grip there more to life than them

  • Pensioner Bhoy says:

As Paul McConville says, the Ibrox saga is both an interesting Scottish football topic and a topic of interest to Scottish football supporters. I for one, therefore, think it should be in the public domain.

However, we Celtic fans have enough in fighting on our plate right now not to allow this topic, interesting though it be, to distract us never mind cause further division.

I applaud these articles and look forward to learning of the japes and high jinks the lost ones keep pulling on each other. But we really don’t need to use them as an excuse for outpourings of hatred for them. That’s we’re we get dragged into it and give them an excuse to shittalk about us. The Huns will be back there’s nothing we can do about that. But in the meantime we should show them the true meaning of honour and dignity. HH

ah jack tell them like it is.

  • symbol of a culture says:

For the avoidance of doubt they are still at it. They should not have been allowed to play last year. If (when) they win the league this season and they still have no audited accounts, everybody with an interest in Scottish football should contact the SPFL to ask why teams abiding by the rules are losing out to a club receiving special favour from the authorities.

    Inspection of Financial Records E30

Every Club shall keep detailed financial records and the Company shall be entitled to inspect such records and to require Clubs to provide copies of any financial or other records which the Company may reasonably require in order to enable the Company to investigate whether the Club has complied and is complying with these Rules, the Articles, the Scottish FA Articles, the UEFA Statutes and the FIFA Statutes and to ensure compliance by the Club with the same.

  • Joe says:

We need to watch everything the lying cheating bastards do. I include the Authorities in this that supposingly run the Scottish game. They are all in it together.

  • Slugger O'Toole says:

Well I have complete faith in those statements … why do you peepul keep doubting ?

    Very informative as usual Joe.
