willie collumWillie Collum’s nightmare 2015 drew to a close with another two blunders at Pittodrie as Aberdeen drew 2-2 with Inverness Caley Thistle.

The Euro 2016 bound whistler started the year with red cards awarded to Kenny McLean and Stephen McManus being successfully appealed and is signing off with double penalty awards in consecutive matches that barely warranted an appeal from the clubs involved.

In most professions after making very public mistakes you’d be wary about repeating those errors but when it comes to refereeing it seems that Collum can do as he pleases without suffering any consequences.

Speaking on Radio Scotland today Michael Stewart mentioned that the law of averages should mean that one of the penalties would be justified but Scotland’s leading referee can’t even master that basic law.

Stewart mentioned how most groups of supporters would have it in for a particular referee but when it comes to Collum he is universally viewed with contempt with his mistakes not restricted to any particular team.

Responding to claims put forward by his mentor Hugh Dallas that Collum was under extra scrutiny Stewart mentioned that he is only in the headlines because of the number of bad decisions that he makes which are having an undue influence on matches that he referees.

Yesterday’s penalty decisions for Inverness and Aberdeen were typical Collum awards given by someone who appears to have little connection or understanding of the game but determined to be the centre of attention.

Unfortunately Column’s year is not yet over with Wednesday’s Dundee v Celtic match set to be refereed by Scotland’s number one referee with the match being shown live on BT Sport.

What is that arsehole on about, ” the law of averages “. 1 right call out of 20 is some average for a well paid proffesional, with a back up team of other well paid proffesional both on and off the park that is put forward as Scotland’s best.. Give me a break. Clowns and cheats every one of you.hh

Wee Willie Winkie has been the laughing stock of Scottish football for a few years. He just`s loves the lime-light and cares not a jot what people think. But what about his supervisors watching from the stands? And as for Hugh Dallas backing him up? Well there is a fine example. And as for his son Andrew? He is another that might just come to the end of his refereeing saga as he seem`s to have been so fast tracked he thinks he is royalty. Another job for my boy.?!

The nightmares Deila, Collins and Kennedy have produced the last three league matches — 2 of 9 points! — is quite enough. Watching Golem would be more than I could handle …
