Sevco have been linked with a swoop for West Brom teenager Tyler Roberts.
The news comes at the same time as long term target Jamie Walker prepares to leave Hearts to join Wigan in a £300,000 deal.
According to The Sun Roberts is set to return to West Brom from a loan spell at Walsall and is out of contract at the end of the season.
Unless he signs a new contract he won’t be going anywhere in January with the ball very much in West Brom’s court.
Roberts has scored five times in 10 League One matches for Walsall and is unlikely to be interested in a move to Ibrox.
With austerity kicking in and the club’s toxic football reputation there is little incentive to risk your career with a move to Ibrox.
Sevco’s last swoop for an English teenager was when they snapped up Jordan ‘mini-Gerard’ Rossiter who has started just six matches in 18 months since being signed from Liverpool.
