Graeme Murty admits that he is in the dark about Dave King’s plans for Sevco.

With two days remaining in the transfer window the caretaker boss will meet with the South African based criminal to discuss plans for the future of the club.

With the three bears withdrawing their financial support Sevco are dependent on King’s New Oasis Asset Limited firm producing £4m to see the season out. In October King’s QC told the Court of Session in Edinburgh that his client was penniless.

At the end of February King’s appeal against the CoS enforcing the verdict of the Takeover Appeal Board will be heard leaving the company in limbo.

Four loan signings and the intervention of Douglas Park to obtain Greg Docherty from Hamilton has kept the gullibles amused but Murty knows that big decisions will have to be taken.

Looking forward to dinner with King tonight Murty told the Daily Mail: “He’s going to tell me his vision for the club, how he sees us going forward. And I’m interested to see it.

I’m interested to see if we have a timescale, interested to see what if any business dealings will be done. I’m probably even interested in what kit we’ re going to be wearing next year. The same things all the fans are interested in.

It will be a good opportunity for us, away from the hurly-burly of the game, to actually sit down and really get to know each other.”

Murty has been told that he’ll be in charge until the end of the season but is likely to remain as manager as long as King is still at the club.

With no access to outside finances an external appointment is highly unlikely leaving the South African based criminal in control of the company.
