Sevco have suspended legendary duo Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace.

Late last night The Sun carried a report that the two players had slaughtered Graeme Murty in the dressing room following the 4-0 defeat from Celtic at Hampden.

Now Sky Sports has revealed that the players have been suspended by the club but there is no mention of them being fined.

Joey Barton received similar treatment in September 2016 with Sevco forced to pay off the remaining 21 months of his contract after a clash with Mark Warburton.

Players can be suspended for two weeks at a time but the PFA look very carefully at fines with clubs having to have very definite grounds to fine players with two weeks wages the maximum.

Murty faces a challenging day with his development students today as he analyses getting pumped by Celtic against a background of utter chaos.

Andy Halliday and Danny Candeias both showed open dissent when they were being substituted while Greg Docherty and Alfredo Morelos were involved in a bust up in the tunnel after the match.

On Sunday Sevco face Hearts at home hoping to avoid their eighth SPFL defeat at Ibrox of the season.
