Liam Henderson watched from afar as his younger brother, Ewan, made his Celtic debut.

In December 2013 Liam appeared as a substitute away to Motherwell before making his first start away to Kilmarnock three months later in a 3-0 win featuring a Kris Commons hat-trick.

Last night Ewan appeared as an 82nd minute substitute for Patrick Roberts just six weeks after turning 18.

Both players have very similar mannerisms on the pitch although Ewan prefers to play as more of an attacking midfielder. The two brothers played a number of matches together for the Celtic Development League side.

In January Liam opted to leave Celtic after finding his chances restricted.

Italian Serie B side Bari was the unlikely destination with the midfielder starting in 15 matches as his new side chases a play off spot to join the big names in Serie A.

With two matches left to play Bari are assured of one of the six play off spots but are three points behind Palermo who are in the top play off position.

Empoli and Frosinone have earned automatic promotion places.
