Boli Bolingoli has made a very quick recovery from the injury that he picked up against Rennes to take his place in the Celtic side to play Kilmarnock today.

The Belgian defender was expected to be out for a few matches but is listed at left-back with Moritz Bauer coming in at right-back for his first Celtic start. Further forward Olivier Ntcham replaces Mo Elyounoussi with Leigh Griffiths failing to make a place on the bench.

Today’s match is Celtic’s first home match of the month after a run of away days that has stabilised the team with progress in two competitions.

Wins in Sweden, Ibrox and at Hamilton followed by a 1-1 draw away to Rennes has established some momentum for the hoops with a gap at the top of the SPFL table and progress in the Europa League.

After today’s match Celtic face two more matches in the next seven days with Partick Thistle visiting on Wednesday night followed by an away day to Hibs on Saturday.

Following a difficult start to the season Kilmarnock have enjoyed back-to-back wins against St Johnstone and Hibs to push them up into mid-table.

CELTIC: Forster; Bauer, Jullien, Ajer, Bolingoli; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Ntcham, Christie; Edouard

SUBS: Gordon, Taylor, Hayes, Elhamed, Rogic, Elyounoussi, Bayo
