Marian Shved made a 25 minute appearance for Ukraine in their 1-0 friendly win over Estonia last night.
The winger joined Celtic from Karpaty Lviv in January but has been restricted to just two substitute appearances- against Nomme Kalju and Ross County- since his switch.
Ukraine have already qualified for next summer’s European Championship Finals and complete their qualifying programme away to Serbia on Monday.
If his Celtic opportunities remain limited it’s likely that the 22-year-old will look to get out on loan in January in order to earn a place in the squad for the European Championships.
James Forrest and Mo Elyounoussi are the current first choice wingers with Neil Lennon also able to call upon Scott Sinclair, Jonny Hayes, Mikey Johnston and Lewis Morgan.
It would seem likely that someone will go out on loan even though the deals for Elyounoussi, Hayes and Sinclair all run out in June.
