All 42 SPFL clubs are voting on the EGM propsal to hold an independent investigation into the vote to conclude the season based on average points per game.

A conference call began at 11am and finished around 90 minutes later with voting now under way. In order to be carried the proposal requires the backing of 75% of Premiership clubs and the same figure from the Championship and combined League One and League Two clubs.

On April 11, soon after Scot Gardiner was interviewed by Radio Scotland, Douglas Park called for the suspensions of Rod McKenzie and Neil Doncaster.

Straight away SPFL Chairman Murdoch MacLennan called on Park to produce the evidence to justify the claim.

With no sign of any evidence Hearts and Stranraer backed a call for an EGM with the whistle-blower evidence upgraded to a dossier.

Last Thursday, five days before the EGM the so-called dossier was released with many media commentators describing it as a water pistol rather than a smoking gun.
