David Tanner has hit out at Neil Lennon’s reaction to Ron Gordon’s backing for points deductions for clubs that fail to meet current protocols.
Lennon described as nonsense the momentum growing towards retrospective action involving point deductions after Celtic and Aberdeen were hit with disrepute charges.
Kris Boyd used his column in Saturday’s Sun to call for a points deduction with Tanner deciding to bring the subject up later that day when he interviewed Gordon on Hibs TV as part of their coverage of the 0-0 draw with Motherwell.
This is an odd reaction from Neil.
He can’t have seen the interview with Ron Gordon on Hibs TV.
He wasn’t ‘throwing stones’ and he certainly wasn’t criticising Celtic or Aberdeen.
