Chris Sutton was less than impressed by Celtic’s 1-0 win over Dundee United.

It took a late goal from substitute Albian Ajeti to deliver full points with the hoops running up against a tangerine wall guarding the impressive Benjamin Siegrist in the home goal.

Odsonne Edouard saw an early shot strike the outside of the post with Siegrist pulling off a wonder save from Ryan Christie shortly after the break.

Celtic were looking for inspiration when Ajeti, James Forrest and Kris Ajer were brought on with 20 minutes left to play.

The BBC stats showed Celtic having 64% of possession and 23 attempts on goal but the newly promoted side were less than 10 minutes away from taking a point.

After having the matches against St Mirren and Aberdeen postponed on the back of Boli Bolingoli taking a trip to Spain the three points were badly needed. Next Sunday Celtic face Motherwell at home before the first international break of the season.
