Andrew Dallas and Devante Cole were under attack from Celtic fans after the hoops won 4-1 away to Motherwell.
Eight minutes into the second half the home forward committed a brutal attack on Jeremie Frimpong.
Cole came in at an angle, raised his boot and crunched into Frimpong’s left thigh. Referee Dallas viewed the incident and decided it was worth a yellow card. It is scary to think what it would take for a red card to be produced.
Frimpong required some treatment and managed to play on for 15 minutes before being replaced by Hatem Abd Elhamed and seemed to be feeling the effects of the attack as he came off the park.
Back in January Frimpong was stretchered off after another brutal challenge from Kilmarnock’s Alan Power, again no red card was shown.
After 12 SPFL matches Celtic have had Dallas on three occasions. Back in August Odsonne Edouard was subjected to similar treatment against Dundee United, forcing him out of the Champions League qualifier against Ferencvaros.

Vindictive , premeditated studs up .. horrific .. Red all the way .. saw Frimpong limping off , hope there isn’t a long term layoff coming ..

@ScottishFA Dallas was looking right that, he had a clear view. He can spot a penalty to the Ibrox club from a thousand yards away though 22 players but somehow doesn’t see that as a Stonewall Red card from 10+ yards away. @BBCSportsound @ClydeSSB

Not a tic fan but that’s a red all day long…

The right time for Celtic to raise the issue about the refereeing credentials of Andrew Dallas is after a victory like today.
The tackle by Devante Cole on Jeremie Frimpong has clear intent, & could have done serious damage to the lad. A straight red all day long.
