Neil Lennon opened his post-match interview with Sky Sports LAUGHING at the 1-0 defeat from Ross County.
A month ago the current Celtic boss announced that he wouldn’t be speaking to Sky Sports, after a two day stand off with the broadcast partner of the SPFL he was quickly back in the fold providing post and pre-match exclusive interviews.
‘Encapsulates our season’ seemed to be his prepared line for the interview, almost as if the manager that trained the squad through the week then picked the starting XI and substitutes had nothing to do with their under performance.
“We didn’t play badly and we didn’t deserve to lose the game.”

Lennon was happy to bask in the glow of an unsteady five match winning run but as soon as it goes wrong it is on the players- from missed chances to basic failings from set-pieces.
During the match Sky Sports helpfully informed viewers that County have lost 12 goals directly from corners- including two against Celtic in September.
For reasons only the manager can explain almost all of Celtic’s corners last night were played short rather than pinged in the direction of Kris Ajer and Odsonne Edouard.
With no midweek fixture Lennon’s next round of media appointments will be on Friday, previewing Saturday’s match against Aberdeen.
