Olivier Ntcham will be heading back to Celtic in the summer with Marseille dropping any interest in the midfielder.
Virtually from Day 1 Ntcham’s loan seemed doomed with Andre Villas-Boas making it very clear that it wasn’t a signing that he had approved of. The previous weekend threats from Marseille fans had forced the postponement of a league match against Rennes after a confrontation at the club training ground.
Villas-Boas resigned soon afterwards, Ntcham has been given a couple of appearances without pulling up any trees with a return to Celtic at the end of the season looking a certainty.

With Scott Brown leaving there could be an opening at Celtic but having been a shadow of himself for two years it is difficult to see Ntcham upping his game in the final 12 months of his contract.
The Ntcham issue and many more await the new Celtic management team, some players have managed to completely revive their careers but a quiet parting of the ways in the summer looks more likely although Marseille can be ruled out as a destination.
According to Soccerway Ntcham has played 119 minutes in Ligue 1 over three appearances.
