John Kennedy has a Friday meeting pencilled in with Dom McKay.

The new CEO arrived at Celtic Park yesterday to check in with Peter Lawwell with a 10 week handover before he takes full control.

McKay has an in-tray overflowing with ‘To-Do’ tasks as he gets to grip with a club needing an overhaul in every area.

With Lennoxtown 10 miles away from Celtic Park and a match tomorrow night there has been no meeting yet with the Interim Manager but that is expected to take place on Friday.

Asked if he had spoken with McKay Kennedy (6 min 30 seconds) said:

I haven’t, we’ve been busy preparing for Aberdeen, we’ll travel up this afternoon and obviously there is the game tomorrow. I think that we have pencilled in to catch up later in the week, Friday or so. He’s obviously busy himself, he’ll have a lot of people to see, things to do so at some point this week we’ll catch up.

Celtic have no match this weekend, after tomorrow’s clash with Aberdeen there are just three more matches to be played with the next SPFL tie coming at Ibrox on May 2.

McKay hasn’t yet made any comment on his new job but will be expected to give some sort of interview to one of the club’s in-house media outlets this week.
