It was as predictable as the heart-breaking eye witness account of seeing a disabled pregnant pensioner being beaten to within an inch of her life on her first visit abroad to cheer on the club gallantly formed by Charles Green in 2012.
COPS ATTACK GERS FANS screamed the front page of the fast sinking Daily Record as they gave their unique take on the Battle of Brondby last night.
Previously in Barcelona, Pamplona, Villarreal, Manchester, Bucharest and many other outposts the same group of fans had brought mayhem as they imported the behaviour that has earned them the tag of Scotland’s Shame.
Every time a variety of local issues are blamed for the violence and anti-social behaviour of the travelling bears.
It is almost as if a template involving heavy-handed policing, inadequate stewarding, poor security and of course the undercover Chelsea fans has to be used rather than facing up to the reality that was in evidence in George Square in March and May.
With Police Scotland taking a softly softly approach when foreign Plod applies the law of the land it comes as something of a culture shock.
Singing your racist bile in the streets isn’t to be praised as high spirits, ticketless fans trying to storm turnstiles and fighting with locals isn’t a praiseworthy act by the visitors from Bridgton, Larkhall, Bearsden and Kilwinning.
The blue-washing of this story is in full flow, look out for the French version next month with Lyon residents getting a fresh warning about the visitors who vandalised their club coach in September.
Tomorrow’s Daily Record front page leads on the clashes between Danish police and Rangers fans outside Brondby Stadium.#scotpapers #tomorrowspaperstoday @hendopolis pic.twitter.com/EEzBeYY1QF

?? you could have went with “Ticketless hordes try to break into stadium” or “fans fight with police”. A parody of a newspaper.

Trying to storm the gate without tickets.

We all know that every team that visits Denmark always clashes with the police…….Scotland’s shame….again.
— StuMcK (@StuMcK7) November 5, 2021
Hi John,
Why didn’t you refer to the local police statement explaining that fans without tickets attempted to force their way into the ground or that police had to intervene to prevent them from entering the Brondby areas to attack them?Instead you quote mystery fans.

Danish headlines
“Scottish fans met with major policing after trying to break the law and force there way into a stadium”
— chivs (@CHIVS105) November 4, 2021
Think the headline is wrong way about. Another fine Rangers PR job by the Record, got to love ahem impartial journalism?

Is there ever any other outcome…when the great grandsons of William expose themselves to the continent? I very much doubt it.

Those poor innocents

The Scottish media are the sniggering cohorts of the bully in the playground with a jobby on a stick.
That has got to be a parody of a headline ,I know the daily Sevco is a biased rag but that headline is the total opposite of what happened ,only in parochial bigoted masonic backwater Scotland.
How about a realistic headline such as “Cunts Fail To Learn Yet Again….and get what they deserve”
Oh dear the Sevco filth got battered, they are a Hatebreed for sure 24/7 ,scum!!!
