It was the sort of fight-back and triumph that Bertie Auld would have revelled in.
Last month the Lisbon Lion passed away with the two Scottish clubs that he graced in his playing days getting through their League Cup semi-finals to grace Hampden the weekend before Christmas.
Sadly Auld wasn’t at the match in person but his spirit was around the Celtic side with a cardboard cut out in the stand in case anyone had forgotten his contribution to the hoops down the years.
God bless Bertie Auld. ?? pic.twitter.com/qBtKxFqFYV

The Premier Sports cameras covered the cut-out a few times during their coverage with Chris Sutton discussing Auld during the pre-match build up.
Watching a Celtic side battle back from going behind would have brought a smile of satisfaction to the Lion, or more likely some banging of the windows in an executive box as he did at the 2016 League Cup Final win over Aberdeen.
Bertie Auld will be on everyone’s mind during today’s final ?
