Kenny Miller has been forced to admit that Alfredo Morelos won’t be sold for Dembele Dollars.Â
Now into his 10th transfer window there hasn’t been a sniff of interest in the chunky Colombian despite the constant speculation of the Scottish media.Â
From Barcelona to Newcastle and Burnley umpteen clubs have been keeping tabs and weighing up offers without ever slapping in a bid for the former HJK Helsinki starlet.Â
With doubts over his fitness and temperament there is again no genuine interest in Morelos who will be a free agent next summer.Â
In the Daily Record, Miller explains:Â
If Alfredo really wants a move to the Premier League, La Liga or the Bundesliga, he might feel the best opportunity now is to go on a free next summer.Â
The flip side to that is he looks happy at Rangers. He’s found a home here and is adored by the Ibrox fans. So there are two sides to it. But he is the one who holds all the aces here.Â
With just a year left, if Rangers want to sell now I’d be surprised if they got an eight-figure fee. It would be millions, just not tens of millions.Â
At this stage, if the club wants to maximise his value, trying to get him re-signed is paramount.Â
Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo, Ryan Jack, Filip Helander, Steve Davis and Scott Arfield are also out of contract in May 2023.Â
