Darrell Currie has revealed the tears that Ally McCoist spilled on the road to defeat in Seville last season.

As Giovanni van Bronckhorst watched a six point lead over Celtic turned into a four point deficit a freakish run in Europe got underway.

Injury to Erling Haaland and a 10,000 capacity restriction in the Westfallen opened the door to beat Borussia Dortmund before a VAR inspired win over Red Star Belgrade.

Everything possible that could go wrong for opponents did as the Europa League provided a welcome distraction to Celtic taking the SPFL Premiership title and a guaranteed place in the 22/23 Champions League group stage.

When Aaron Ramsey flopped with a penalty against Eintracht Frankfurt it all got too much for McCoist as Currie told the Daily Record:

They were amazing games to be involved in and seeing the emotion of guys like Ally crying his eyes out put us through the wringer a little bit. The whole journey that people talk about with Rangers, he was in on it right from the beginning.

McCoist was in at the start of the journey, sending Lee McCulloch out with the armband away to Brechin in the Petroltank Challenge Cup in 2012.

Cup tie humiliations followed to Queen of the South, Alloa, Forfar and Raith Rovers. A week after losing to Alloa and seven weeks before a League Cup semi-final against Celtic McCoist opted for gardening leave, keeping quiet for 12 months until he had banked his last payment.

In 2019 the slurpers of pee were found guilty of racist singing fined 50,000 euros.
    Amongst the other fines.
John Gudetti got fined by the sfa for saying the word hun the slurpers got the sfa involved and told them we find the word offensive but as Celtic knew this word was used in the 2nd world war as a character reference for the country Germany.
Since the inception of ze huns and offensive singing of there singing there traditional songs they’ve never been fined by the sfa only uefa there bosses whadoes that tell you .
So ze slurpers can sing black homo yid and something would be done but no surrender hello hello famine song the sfa will do nothing.
So the sfa are white supremacists apart from the gonnie night and of course Billy boy Pete Dermot the ger say and do nothing.
