Once again Ross Wilson has failed to find a club to sign Alfredo Morelos.

Back in January 2018 the Ibrox PR team floated claims of Chinese interest in the striker to some gullible publishers.

That stunt has been repeated over 10 successive transfer windows with barely a sniff of transfer interest, fortunately for Morelos he has been rewarded with two improved contracts since his arrival from HJK Helsinki.

Earlier this week The Scotsman refreshed their Fenerbache transfer template but after the striker was publicly shamed last week by his manager there has been no follow up from the Turks.

After a week of failure from transfer guru Wilson, van Bronckhorst is having t put a brave face on having the huffy Colombian around the club until January at the earliest.

The Mail reports the Ibrox boss saying:

I had a good chat with him on Sunday. He had a good week to train, but also to think about his future. As I said before, he is still a Rangers player. I think he is going to be important for us in the next months and this season.

I saw a change in his attitude, the way he worked. We have to keep working like this for the next coming months to be the player he can be – and a player who can give us a lot.

With Celtic, Ajax, Aberdeen and Napoli coming up, the first three away from home, over a 10 day spell van Bronckhorst could be forced to find a place on the bench for his unwanted striker.
