Ally McCoist has piled the pressure on Giovanni van Bronckhorst after successive 4-0 defeats.
Losing to Celtic was sore, a reaction was expected but an equally gutless performance saw the Dutch champions canter to as easy a three points as they have ever picked up in the Champions League.
Van Bronckhorst made one change to the side pumped by Celtic but Scott Wright looked like a competition winner coming in for Steve Davis with the former Aberdeen man substituted at half-time.
The results were poor but the biggest issue was the lack of commitment and endeavour from his players. When a manager can’t get a reaction from the dressing room his options are limited. Bad players tend to outlast under achieving managers.
Speaking on BT Sport after the final whistle McCoist said:
There will definitely be question marks over the players but there will be question marks over the manager too.
The one thing that concerns me more than anything was the lack of effort to run about.
I’m looking at their midfielders and they’re bombing on beyond the ball and creating space. Their movement in the first half was excellent

Maybe the lack of effort to “Run About” was because they were getting the “Runaround”?!
