The sunshine and hoops combo was out in force across Santa Ponsa today as Celtic closed in on the SPFL title.
Hundreds of fans were out and about the Majorcan resort for the 1pm kick-off while 4,000 supporters were squeezed into one stand at Rugby Park.
Santa Ponsa is a firm favourite for Celtic supporters, the hoops are out on show most days of the season but there is a special feeling for matchdays in the sun.
Down at The Square Harry Flynn at the Celts Well has provided the biggest screen on the island, even in the blaring sunshine the screen was crystal clear as the fans soaked up the rays, goals and cervezas during the first half.

The main concentration of Irish pubs is on Carrer de Ramon de Montcada from The Dubliner down to Daniel’s Corner.
From St Patrick’s Day the pubs re-open for the season with names such as Brennan’s, Sean’s, Tom’s Bar, Flamingos and others all providing big screens and a great atmosphere to watch the matches running through towards the end of October.

I was there with my old school in 1976 ! Santa Ponsa was a development town / city back then and was brilliant ….
