Kenny Miller just took the spin a step too far.

Rather than gratefully accept winning a dead rubber after being knocked out of THREE trophies by Celtic Kenny Miller is basing his analysis of the season on the most insignificant of the six Glasgow Derbies played.

Perhaps that Celtic won four and drew the other of the first five is a bit too uncomfortable for Miller to comprehend.

Tonight on Sportscene the media darling produced a calculator to explain why Micky Beale is the real prize guy of Scottish football.

Maybe next week Miller can explain why James Tavernier’s total of two trophy wins from 400 appearances is actually a better return than Alastair Johnstone who has the same amount of winners medals from 18 appearances as a Celtic player.

Miller is expected to ramp up his media appearances in the week ahead before making himself invisible in the build up to the Scottish Cup Final.
