Tom English is trying the subtle approach to express his hostility to all things Celtic.

Last week’s comments about Brendan Rodgers on the BBC website and Off The Ball podcast appear to have resulted in the state broadcaster being left outside the media conference to welcome the former Leicester City boss back to Celtic.

Things went from bad to worse for English over the weekend, getting caned on Twitter he decided to react to claims from Rangers Tax Case which wasn’t the smartest judgement call, even in English’s error strewn career.

All sorts of Internet Bampots waded in to taunt English who seems to spend an unhealthy amount of time on Twitter. Perhaps it is a substitute for having no football contacts outside of Gorgie Road.

Rather than take a day or two away from social media the Chief Sports Writer for BBC Scotland took comfort in reports that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Harry Kane leaving Ange Postecoglou in need of a striker.

Ornstein writes for The Athletic, working in a competitive market he has real contacts and breaks real stories, unlike the team at Pacific Quay.

Alfredo Morelos is available as a free agent but after reporting on 11 Celtic title wins over the last 12 years the desperation to see the hoops fail is the overwhelming motivation in everything English writes or tweets about.

    It’s a sad tale actually.

An old man with an obvious addiction to alcohol sitting alone in a room with a laptop connected to the internet surfing social media .

His unfortunate face screams out rejection and pain.

His emotions must be torn asunder when he walks into the bbc Scotland offices knowing he’s looked upon as a little Oirish trinket. Not to be taken seriously but simultaneously stick to the pro Ibrox, anti Celtic policy of his house masters.

Mr English, if he had lived during the Great Subjugation, would, without a doubt never encounter a hunger pain.

ya , you got that right , i’m not from limerick , it’s not noted for much contribution to the cause of irish freedom . but i do know they’d be seriously embarrassed by tom the gom !!
