Tom English is trying the subtle approach to express his hostility to all things Celtic.
Last week’s comments about Brendan Rodgers on the BBC website and Off The Ball podcast appear to have resulted in the state broadcaster being left outside the media conference to welcome the former Leicester City boss back to Celtic.
Things went from bad to worse for English over the weekend, getting caned on Twitter he decided to react to claims from Rangers Tax Case which wasn’t the smartest judgement call, even in English’s error strewn career.
All sorts of Internet Bampots waded in to taunt English who seems to spend an unhealthy amount of time on Twitter. Perhaps it is a substitute for having no football contacts outside of Gorgie Road.
Rather than take a day or two away from social media the Chief Sports Writer for BBC Scotland took comfort in reports that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Harry Kane leaving Ange Postecoglou in need of a striker.
