Leon King suffered a serious ankle injury at training today to further reduce Micky Beale’s defensive options.
The Ibrox boss has been snapping up strikers from relegated clubs like there is no tomorrow with Dujon Sterling the only defender to sign up for the Revolution.
Sterling suffered an injury last week at Murray Park that forced him out of the Germany trip with King further reducing Beale’s options with the Champions League Third Round qualifier just four weeks away.
#RangersFC can confirm defender Leon King suffered a contact injury to his ankle at the club’s pre-season training camp in Germany on Monday which will rule him out for a significant period of time.

Connor Goldson isn’t expected to be back playing until mid-August which leaves Ben Davies and John Souttar as the only available defenders. Neither has the greatest of records when it comes to injuries.
John Lundstram could be brought back into central defence, last season in the Champions League King and James Sands were regulars in central defence.
There are rumours tonight that Leon Balogun is close to signing a 12 month deal to return to Ibrox after an injury hit season at QPR.
Mr Bisgrove being that top quality businessman will sort out the injuries for sevco,as he appears to be Mr Fix It for all the klubs other troubles.
Lol the Zombies on FF are eating some amount of top quality shite tonight some real proper Aberdeen Angus top quality journalistic shite.
The FAKE news was TRICKLED out through Bisgrove earlier in the day, with the klan on FF praising him for taking on TEG and telling them where to go.
Apparently it’s sevco calling all the shots in the new deal with the company they owed money to,now it’s sevco in charge and the company dance to the sevco tune as they will be dishing out the orders.
The klan fan base actually believes all this shit.
Clever move by young Leon King, getting crocked in training rather than be caught up in what’s coming down the pipe.
With the current injury list starting to resemble the previous injury list, is it time for Sevco to sponsor a hospital wing? Or perhaps become “Official Partners” with Careco.
