With Craig McPherson’s influence on the touchline it seems that ‘Rangers Ladies’ are picking up the traits of their coach.
Last season Malky Thomson’s assistant chose Sky Sports’ first ever live coverage of the SWPL to put the head on Fran Alonso after his side had lost a late equaliser to Celtic.
After a few days of silence from both clubs and the authorities McPherson was given a six match touchline ban in a typically Scottish bid to get on with the show rather than apply some standards.
Jo Potter is now managing the Ibrox Ladies but McPherson’s influence and grinning presence can be seen on the touchline as FOUR of his players seperately push an opponent in full view of an assistant referee who took no action.

During a break in play due to injury Chloe Warrington, Glasgow City’s left-back stood close to the touchline to pick up on whatever instructions were being issued by Potter and McPherson.
In turn four different players raised their hands to push Warrington away while McPherson looked on in approval with the assistant referee viewing every moment clearly without taking any action. One of the Ibrox Ladies sprayed her water bottle at Washington.
