Micky Beale doesn’t feel under pressure and claims that he is part of the plans at Ibrox.

A quick phone call to Giovanni van Bronckhorst who lasted 366 days in the job should kill off that delusion.

Beale was strong on deflections and stats at today’s media conference but looked unsteady and nervous at times as he glanced toward his notes.

The Ibrox boss is a huge lover of social media, using Twitter and Facebook to charm the bears as he put himself in place to replace van Bronckhorst.

Social media including the on-message fan media sites have been screaming for Beale to get sacked but so far there has been nothing but silence from inside Ibrox although there has been a few media reports that suggest the company is starting to look for Plan B.

Listen, I don’t need assurances. I am part of plan in terms of where we are going as a club.

It is something that I am fully involved in and aware of and ultimately a football manager needs to win games of football.

The last two we didn’t win and we need to get back to it.

We’ve got seven games in 22 days now so there is a good opportunity for us to do that.

No, listen I am disappointed with the results just like everybody else.

I think that sometimes small margins can make a big difference in a game, and in the last one I think that was the case.

Ultimately you need to win games. Last year we won a lot and didn’t come away with any silverware so this year it’s about silverware.

There has been a lot of change around me and in my time as manager here from within the club and on the playing side.

We have not started the season how we all wanted but there is a lot of football to be played.

They are sharing their frustration. They were heard loud and clear.

I don’t think there is much time for talking now. We need to make it up to them with performances and results.

The fans are sharing their frustration and anxiety with the way the season has gone and that is natural.

After the final whistle against Celtic the atmosphere inside Ibrox was more toxic than usual which probably explains why Beale bolted away down the tunnel.

If the gap to Celtic goes beyond four points it is difficult to see the Ibrox board standing by Beale while European performances like last season won’t be tolerated in the secondary tournament.

We’ve got seven games in 22 days to get back to it (winning)…

He ain’t winning all of them for sure…

Maybe the Scottish ones with the aid of referees and VAR –

But certainly not The European ones where they are refereed to the laws of the game unlike here in Scotland !

Plan B?! Ben Drew probably would be a better manager than him. Similar accent though….

This is nearly dogs barking at the caravan stuff. Absolutely hilarious ?

“Small margins” ? Like having a brain and not having one ?

Did you listen to the Rangers presser ? Big Raman from STV was the lead questioner in chief -or as someone said the other day big Rangers Bandwagon – for all the very disappointed SMSM scoops ! If the Rangers are still charging £25 large per question , STV will need to write a cheque for about £175.000 big ones . Bet they wished they had sent tin-tin instead ?

Was his and the board,s plan to get gubbed by PSV , go out of the Champions league and loss to The Famous Glasgow Celtic in their own midden. I love it when a plan comes together.
