Paulo Bernardo comes in to replace Reo Hatate in the only change to the Celtic side that started the Champions League tie at home to Atletico Madrid.

Hatate looks like being out of action for at least a month which gives the on loan Benfica man the chance to make an impression.

With David Turnbull and Tomoki Iwata on the bench Brendan Rodgers has a couple of options with Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley fixtures in the centre of the park.

Celtic are at the start of a hectic run of fixtures with give matches to be played until the November break following the visit from Aberdeen on November 12.

A sixth successive away win today will put the hoops 10 points clear at the top of the table with the first batch of matches completed on Wednesday when St Mirren visit Celtic Park.

Alan Muir will referee today’s match, in his previous appointment this season he was in charge of the League Cup defeat away to Kilmarnock in August.

CELTIC: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; McGregor, Bernardo, O’Riley; Maeda, Kyogo, Palma

SUBS: Bain, Phillips, Yang, Turnbull, Oh, Tomoki, Forrest, Ralston, M Johnston

Hibernian’s star man today could be Mr Alan Muir…

    Just sayin’ like –

    You heard it here first…

But yous all know it’s very possible indeed !

Check the possession to fouls anomalies and you’ll see that I was very correct in ma prediction !

  • KC67 says:

Would have liked to have seen Iwata start the game.

  • Tony B says:

The referee is a hun and will bear the watching. Look out for blatant fouls by Hibs allowed to go unpunished, while the opposite will apply re Celtic.

  • Adoo Fellaffadyke says:

Muir is slowly but surely making himself the SFA’s/Sevco’s top fixer. No mean feat considering the high cheating standards of his fellow masons.

  • Dan Cowie says:

Didn’t think Celtic were capable of being that bad, that game was so flat, dismal football. It’s a little concerning if it had anything to do with the CL game as we have two away ties in that competition next.

  • Dan Cowie says:

Surprised a little by the ref comments, I agree he was poor but Celtic put in a far worse display, they didn’t even look interested today, very strange body language and displays from the whole team
