There are few things that old media enjoys more than an O** F*** battle, the template is clear as they slot the pieces together and sit back waiting for the angry reactions on both sides.

Whatever this issue, truth or FACTS! Involved if you can shoe-horn it together it is mission accomplished with the away ticket allocation a recent favourite alongside the once a year fear over a post split O** F*** title decider.

The ticket row has a very clear timeline that covers both clubs out of Ibrox and dates back to the last century when Celtic Park was rebuilt.

From 1998 Dave Murray’s Executive Toy were given the same ticket allocation as Celtic received for Ibrox with barely a complaint from either side.

In the early nineties around 18,000 away fans had a terrace ticket, up until 1986 Celtic fans were given the West Enclosure at Ibrox, decent allocations in the Main Stand and Govan Stand’s and the whole of the Broomloan Road Stand.

In the summer of 2018, following four successive Celtic wins at Ibrox Dave King shifted the goalposts to please snivelling bears on social media.

Everything else relates to that date. Until a safe section is provided for Celtic fans at Ibrox there will be no bears inside Celtic Park for the Glasgow Derby, perhaps SSB can put that to whizz kid James Bisgrove next time they are invited in to hear about his exciting digital plans with stakeholders.
