Celtic rounded off the season in style with a 3-2 win over St Mirren with Luis Palma sealing the victory in the 85th minute.
It was a patchy performance, as you’d expect with Wednesday’s celebrations going on past midnight but it was spiced up with three quality goals to take the SPFL points tally to 93, eight ahead of the runners-up.
St Mirren led twice in the first half but were pegged back each time with goals from Matt O’Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi with each of the scorers standing on 19 from all competitions for the season.
Kyogo teed up his midfield team mate in the 21st minute then dashed to the front post in the 37th minute to meet a brilliant low cross from Reo Hatate to send the hoops in level at the interval.
St Mirren probably had the better of the second half but were unable to test out Joe Hart, as the keeper was preparing to be substituted Tony Ralston made space down the right with Palma stealing away from his marker to net at the back post.
After that it was onto the presentation and ceremony as the players lapped up the adulation of being Scottish champions for the 54th time.

Celtic cannot risk selling any of their best players. Not even one; for an extravagent, outrageous fee.
One Pundit called us fragile. It took a while for the teamwork to click into gear. I have a feeling that the SPL teams have improved. Congrats Celtic. Hoop, Hoop, Hooray.
John, try telling that about transfers and money to our cheating, traitorous chairman who will happily downsize our squad by keeping those who need to move on and selling our assets. It’s what he does.
Kingston Bridge, wheeeeee, splash.and then we, The Glasgow Celtic will move even higher. NB, if Kingston Bridge is too busy with new hun ‘jumpers’ then Erskine will do quite fine. I don’t even care if he walks away, just as long as he’s gone and he stays gone!
