Johnny Kenny was on the scoresheet for Bolton yesterday as they drew1-1 away to Bradford City.
The point keeps Bolton in third place and well in contention for a Play Off spot.
It was the fifth successive match that Kenny has scored in- exactly what managers are looking for at this stage of the season.
Ironically as Kenny was scoring the team news was emerging from Celtic Park with Tomas Cvancara and Junior Adamu failing to make the 20 man squad.
Fellow January loan signing Joel Mvuka hasn’t been involved since the March 8 Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox.
The failure of those three signings illustrates the difficulties of going out on loan in January.
Cvancara, Adamu and Muvuka had dropped completely out of contention at their clubs.
A move to Celtic was viewed as a fresh start and the chance to turn the season around. It hasn’t worked for any of them.
KENNY GRABS HIS CHANCE WITH GOAL RUSH
In contrast Kenny now has six goals for Bolton. To add to the six he scored for Celtic, four in the SPFL and one in each domestic cup competition.
What a finish that was!! Looked like it was going over from where we stood, thankfully it didn’t!!!

There is no denying that Kenny had a poor time of it at Celtic around December and January.
He signed off with a good finish away to Auchinleck Talbot but memories of his League Cup semi-final goal at the start of November had faded.
Having never played in English football Kenny could have sunk without trace at Bolton.
A new country, a new league and finding himself surplus to requirements at Celtic.
Kenny is on course to finish his season at Wembley with Bolton looking for promotion to the Championship through the Play Offs.
In the summer he should be returning to Celtic but his scoring run at Bolton will be getting noticed.
It would be a surprise if there weren’t English clubs interested in the 22-year-old on a scoring run.
