John Beaton will referee Celtic’s match away to Motherwell on Wednesday.
The SFA released the names of the officials for Matchday 37 in the after match of today’s Glasgow Derby.
Once again Don Robertson and David Dickinson have been left out of the two critical matches.
According to the KMI Panel Celtic should have been awarded a penalty in their 2-1 win over Hibs. Three on-field decisions were wrong.
Beaton was on VAR duty in today’s Glasgow Derby and will again be involved with Celtic on Wednesday.
He has a long history of being very reluctant to apply the Laws of the Game in Celtic matches.
BEATON AND THE CELTIC VAR CHECKS
On March 1 it took Beaton more than two minutes at the VAR monitor before awarding Celtic a penalty at Ibrox.
Dujon Sterling clearly used his arm to block a header from Daizen Maeda. Steven McLean prompted the VAR check, eventually Reo Hatate scored Celtic’s equaliser.
Two weeks later Beaton was in charge of Celtic’s home match against Motherwell.
Again it took a VAR check before a penalty was awarded. Maeda was again the victim, taken out by Manny Longelo in the clear vision of Beaton.
After another lengthy VAR check Beaton returned to award a penalty and send of Longelo.
The Red card is because Ward missed it’ Falling to the Daiz. Longelo pulls him down.
Daiz has a shot or head on goal No attempt to play ball so double jeopardy doesn’t count

Andrew Dallas will be helping Beaton out from the VAR studio, another member of the Lanarkshire Refereeing Association.
Celtic go to Fir Park trailing Hearts by one point, at the same time Hearts take on Falkirk at Tynecastle.
Hearts drew away to Motherwell on Saturday night with Derek McInnes unhappy with the refereeing of Steven McLean.
Willie Collum is struggling to appoint match officials with his top referees increasingly error prone.
There remains one big appointment to make, Saturday’s Celtic v Hearts match.
With Beaton and Walsh involved in midweek it is unlikely that they’ll be selected for Match 38. McLean’s performance at Fir Park last night would seem to rule him out.
On Tuesday morning the match officials for Saturday should be announced on the SFA website.

Tuned in SSB after the game it was SUPERB.
Lol on the panel was 3 ROASTERS but 2 inparticular auld broken snib himself aka Spew Heevins(long lost twin brother of the American chat show Giraldo Rivera the guy with the funny moustache and hairdo) and Fanny Bell sirry Cammy Bell.
Those 2 bawbags did nothing but talk up sevco over the past number of weeks before the split informing us all with their wisdom of the game that sevco would win the title.
Bellend Cammy even told us all after 2 defeats for sevco after the split something just told that sevco would still win the title,he couldn’t put his finger on but he just knows that sevco will do it.
Then you have the yin whose nose has broken in about 15 different places pipes up after those 2 defeats for sevco after the split, giving well it won’t be Celtic challenging for the league, they just don’t have it in them,be that players scoring goals or players to defend.
Then today after the game the same 2 fannys started calling the sevco players iut and the manager for not being good enough, when previously they put it out there that it was sevco who would be the stronger out 3 teams to win.
BOOM!
How did that work out for you all.
Beaton did us a favour today, AJ’s tackle on Moore was a straight red, pretty much identical to the red for Hibs on AJ last week
It def wasn’t identical, moore was 2 feet away when AJ made contact with the ball.
Beaton detests Celtic…
His son goes to Motherwell matches with him allegedly…
How the fuck is this allowed in Scotland…
Anyway it’s not Dickinson thank f*uck but the next worst !
