According to BBC Scotland there is growing demand in Germany for Danny Rohl!
Normally there is very little interest in the third best manager in Scotland but this season seems to be an exception.
Strangely the interest in Rohl has been cranked up since he lost three successive matches in the SPFL Premiership.
A cynic might think that the state broadcaster is trying to provide comforting content in the wake of another season that has turned into a huge disappointment.
Confronting reality isn’t going to go down well with angry Ibrox fans.
After being promised a title party three back-to-back defeats haven’t gone down well.
IBROX FANS DEMAND THE SACKING OF ROHL
Polls suggest that 85% or more of Ibrox fans want to see Rohl sacked, it may well be Celtic fans making up those voting to keep Danny boy.
Excitedly, today BBC Scotland reports:
The lead story on the BBC Gossip page always delivers positive news for Ibrox fans.
Wednesday’s edition tried to create the impression that Danny Rohl is in demand with:
Rangers’ Danny Rohl is among several names on Bayer Leverkusen’s shortlist for a new head coach, but Bild suggests that Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner is the top choice and Girona’s Michel is also a candidate. (Bulinews), external
Danny Rohl is not at risk of being sacked by Rangers and is unlikely to leave for Wolfsburg considering their relegation from the Bundesliga, but Union Berlin, in particular, and Bayer Leverkusen could be more attractive propositions amid Europe-wide interest in the 37-year-old. (Sky Germany)
Rohl seemed to have a decent profile on the back of 18 months in charge of Sheffield Wednesday.
At the end of July last summer Rohl resigned from Wednesday but the offers weren’t exactly flooding in.
A return to Germany was expected but with no other offers coming in he took up the Ibrox manager’s job on October 20.
Now having taken the club into third place BBC Scotland are sharing claims that Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg are battling it out to appoint Rohl.
The notion that the Ibrox club will collect compensation for Rohl is laughable.
The reality is that Rohl and his backroom staff will need paid of or put on gardening leave before the latest Revolution gets under way.
With a contract running to May 2028 it will be a costly business binning Rohl. Just like Russell Martin who is yet to take up a new job after his 123 day stint at Ibrox.

It would make sense if sevco is ‘tipping off’ the SMSM about – alleged – interest in Rohl,
as it could make it slightly more palatable to the bears,
when they are informed that the club has ‘managed to keep’ Rohl at ibrox!
Coming in mid-season, he does deserve this summer and next season,
[although October might be his limit?]
Honest to god, will this ever stop.
Season after season after season the same old guff.
Players are shite, but in demand.
Manager is shite, but in demand.
Rebuild rebuild rebuild.
They’ve had mare rebuilds than an epileptics lego set.
Surely at some point, even as insane as they are, there must come a time when they realise they’ve done this all before, many times.
Groundhun Day.
We should make a date and celebrate it every year.
All Scottish Scummy’s are fu**in Liars and PATHOLOGICAL ones at that !!!
What a load of bo***x from the BBC, hair flick who will be lucky to get a job managing a schoolboy team after getting run out of town by the onion bears
