Celtic appear unusually active as the clock ticks towards the deadline for fans to renew their Season Tickets.
5pm today is the deadline with the club sending out two tweets 19 hours apart to push the message.
Callum McGregor appears in hostage mode for a brief message, typically Michael Nicholson fails to show up.
It seems that the £17,000 a week CEO is still traumatised by his media blitz in December.
After avoiding Gerry McCulloch for four years Nicholson seemed to overcome his shyness to speak TWICE in a fortnight to Celtic TV.
First up there was the awkward hug as Wilfried Nancy arrived by taxi at Lennonxtown. As planned by the CEO.
Nicholson then gave an underwhelming performance as he expressed his excitement about the new manager.
Less than two weeks later Nicholson was discussing the exciting transfer plans for January and beyond.
Fortunately Nancy was sacked on January 5. Not a peep has been heard from Nicholson since.
Not even an AI generated statement thanking the manager and players for winning the double. In spite of Nicholson’s clear attempts to weaken the squad over three transfer windows.

CELTIC BEING HIT IN THE POCKET
The deadline will pass at 5pm with no permanent manager or Chairman in place. Numerous other jobs are unfilled including Head of Football Operations.
Clearly the actions of the Celtic Fans Collective is having an impact at every level of the club.
It isn’t ridiculous to speculate that merchandise sales are down 50% or more.
Rather than address issues the club is doubling down.
Appointing a manager is dependent on Dermot Desmond’s golf diary.
A competent club would have a Director of Football in place, one that always has three options in mind for every key position inside the club.
At Celtic it seems that the first thought is to fill vacancies internally. After that they will ask within select circles if any family members are looking for a job.
It seems that the job of manager will go to Martin O’Neill or Robbie Keane.
One of them will ensure a continuation of the events from the current season. Appointing the other will see a meltdown of Kris Boyd and Ally McCoist levels.
So it won’t be extended like your search for a manager? What about that muppet Nicholson, surety he’s not getting another £1m out the club?

“…The renewal window closes at 5pm today and will not be extended.”
That sentence sums up exactly how out of touch club really is – and at many levels?
That was a communication with [arguably] the club’s most important customers: the ST holders.
There was no need to add in the threat “will not be extended.”
That was unnecessary, if not offensive?
[What’s the betting it WILL be extended…?]
I have renewed but as I’ve said last season not another penny more will I spend on merch or food etc sack them all and back the team let’s hope it’s a better season than last despite winning another double 5??6????
