Saturday was another monumental day for Luke McCowan, May has been a busy month.
May 10 there was a Glasgow Derby, May 16 Celtic won the SPFL title then on the 23rd the hoops won the Scottish Cup.
Rounding the month of, on Saturday the 30th McCowan got married, Erin became Mrs McCowan.
Back in May 2022 the soon-to-be-happy couple were in the stand at Tannadice as Ange Postecoglou’s side won the SPFL title.
Three years later McCowan was on the pitch as Celtic made it 4-in-a-row following his summer transfer from Dundee.
Mr and Mrs McCowan are certainly Celtic minded, they know the history and the songs that go with it.
On Saturday, at their wedding the couple couldn’t resist getting a picture that will always relate to the 25/26 season. And the epic meltdown as Celtic were awarded a penalty against Motherwell on May 13.

Much of the Scottish media has been unable to get over Celtic being awarded a penalty for deliberate handball.
No matter how much Hearts are the People’s Champions and Derek McInnes is a right good lad The Laws of the Game are applied universally.
If it is matchday 1 or 37, minute 1 or minute 90 plus if you raise your hand to make contact with the ball it will result in a penalty.
JOY FOR MCCOWAN- DESPAIR AT BBC SCOTLAND
On Saturday’s Sportsound show on Radio Scotland Tom English was still struggling to accept that concept.
The state broadcaster has been considering offering grief therapy to their Sports Department which will be extended to pundits such as Andy Halliday and Ryan Stevenson.
It was a clear cut decision. The surprise was that the penalty wasn’t awarded for Sam Nicholson elbowing Auston Trusty in the face. The shock decision was that John Beaton awarded a throw-in to Motherwell from Nicholson’s contact.
Kris Boyd and Derek McInnes led the meltdown on Sky Sports. The Hearts boss described the penalty decision as disgusting,
They were joined the next morning by Ally McCoist on TalkSPORT.
Now into a third week the meltdown shows no sign of relenting. They Never Stop.

Did anyone else hear Tom English condemning the player that got red in the Scotland game?
“He’s elbowed him in the head, definite red, he’s got what he deserves”.
Irony obviously isn’t English’s strong point is it?
Red card to Trusty for assaulting Nicholson’s elbow with his neck, Timmy! ?
You have to remember that English is not really very intelligent and seems to have a complete lack of ability to reason.
I agree with the SKY TV Scottish football representative and all the others who have now caught up with the CELTIC support that VAR is not fit for purpose and is corrupt “well the cheats administering VAR” are…..just look at the BLATANT HANDBALL THEY MISSED AT IBROX BY SHANKLAND OF THEN “HEARTS” ….it’s taken these people a few years to catch up with the CELTIC SUPPORT …But their acceptance now is welcome
English, like McCann, is all in now. You can only sell your soul once. After that, there is no going back.
He’s just a proverbial West Brit B*astard Tony B !
He must be a horrific person to be anywhere near…
