With another season of failure and disappointment behind him Super Jack Butland has been enjoying his long summer break.
Previously the former Crystal Palace reserve has teamed up with Joe Hart to sing the praises of Callum McGregor.
This summer Butland appears to have settled for singing towards a phone while showing off that he can avoid dropping a wine glass for 15 seconds.
In three full seasons as first choice keeper at Ibrox Butland has won the League Cup once.
Last season he failed to pick up a single runners-up medal.
In the League Cup it was a semi-final defeat to Celtic. In the Scottish Cup Celtic won a quarter-final shoot-out at Ibrox with Super Jack failing to get near any of the four Celtic penalties. No prizes for guessing which team ended his SPFL Premiership hopes.
JACK BUTLAND- THE LOSERS LOSER
Famously after losing the 2024 League Cup Final to Celtic Butland stayed on the pitch at Hampden to see the winners lift the trophy.
Modest Butland then told the media that he would use the hurt of that moment as motivation.
Since then the only thing that he has won is the 25/26 Players Player of the Year Award.

Just like in the summer of 2023 there is absolutely no interest from English clubs in the deluded goalkeeper.
With James Tavernier being eased out of the picture Butland regularly wore the armband of dignity towards the end of last season.
He finished the season losing an average of more than two goals a game as another title bid ended in tatters.
Rather than finish second in the Premiership Butland’s side finished up in third place.
So far in his Ibrox career Butland has been singing the praises of Micky Beale, Phil Clement, Barry Ferguson, Russell Martin and Danny Rohl.
Another new manager is expected to take pre-season which begins on June 19 at Murray Park.

I hope he wasn’t on the lash with Ben Stokes the now sacked English cricket captain ?
He’s not too bad a goalie but thankfully he’s prone to a few howlers as well…
That he won Sevco a few points shows how poor the rest of Sevco were !
Lol,that would be so funny if McInnes ended up at ibrox.
You woukd then have 2 of the failures from the Hearts implosion from last season ti kick-start sevco’s new season.
Just think how those Hearts fans would turn on both of them.
It woukd be a bit like the Reform Party of Farage&Co,bringing in all those Tory hasbeens to kick-start Reform, when ut was the same Tory hasbeens that F****D the country and the thing up in the first place.
Aye let’s fix what we couldn’t fix last season ourselves with the same losers, that’s a great idea.
Really thoughtful reply there Scud. Can see Madman Mars’s input too.
