The Celtic Fans Collective has repeated their call for Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay to be removed from their posts.
The comment came after the Celtic Supporters Association issued a highly critical statement that went in heavy on almost every area of the running of the club.
On Saturday around 7-8,000 fans attended the home friendly against Middlesbrough.
There was no planned boycott of the match. Just a gut reaction of almost 50,000 Season Ticket holders deciding ‘what’s the point of going’.
At any normal football club such action would spark concerns at boardroom level.
Celtic are far from a normal football club with no sign of comment or engagement from inside.
CEO Nicholson couldn’t even bother to attend the match. The only thing known is that he wasn’t away completing transfer business.

If the Club wishes to avoid a repeat of the disharmony and unrest that dominated much of last season, it must act swiftly to remove Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay before the situation deteriorates further.

The Supporters Association are the longest running formal group of Celtic fans.
Founded in 1947 they have a reputation of being close to the boardroom and are seen as the favoured grouping of fans.
Up through the eighties they were the only organised grouping, followed later by the Affiliation and other more regionalised groups.
PR DISASTER AS NICHOLSON TRIES FAN ENGAGEMENT
Sunday’s statement from Joe Gallagher concentrates fully on footballing matters. There is no mention of the traditional supporter concerns such as stewarding, policing or ticketing.
Nicholson’s attempt at fan engagement in Cork proved as productive as his transfer dealings.
Admitting in public to being unable to deal with agents is either a plea to be removed from his post or gross stupidity.
After that brief meeting with Irish CSC in Cork Nicholson was driven to Dublin alongside Wilson and Martin O’Neill.
Life seems to go on as normal for Nicholson two weeks after he spoke about his difficulties in doing the basics of his job.
Despite the best efforts of Celtic’s media partners almost all fan groups are united in calling for the removal of the ‘leading sports lawyer’ from his role as Celtic CEO.

I think that it’s obvious we need more demonstration of our complete lack of trust in Desmond, the problem really is the season ticket holders really have made things harder than they need be,but nonetheless more of not another penny and empty seats is a great start , I hope Martin O’Neil knows he has put himself in a difficult position especially as they will throw him under the bus when required. Stop giving them your money or you are complicit in the destruction of our club
Tell you what mate, you decided to go all in and you haven’t stopped spreading your message of not giving them anymore money.
Fair play to you!!!!
Are there any names being put forward to replace those 2 duds Nicholson and Wilson
Editor: Just like the job of manager no-one credible will go near the Celtic set up.
Driving back to Dublin ? did anyone ever tell those latchies that there’s an airport in Cork or are they too miserable to spend the fare ffs ?
Speaking of Cork , the friendly with Cork City last season and Shelbourne this year were like night and day , the two couldn’t be compared , i trust we’ll have Cork on the menu again next season
Bertie, Cork is a smashing place. I well remember the friendlies that we played in Cork in 1991 and 1992. The first game saw the Celtic debut of one Tony Cascarino. It was an absolute disaster. Nothing he tried worked. An unmitigated shambles. In retrospect, this was his finest game in a Celtic jersey. As an aside, a young Roy Kean played for Cork that day.
Hail Hail.

Empty stadium in European games will send a message to rest of football of the disfunction within Celtic.
Don’t buy a 3 match package no matter the competition we’re in.
Not
Another
Penny
Only way of getting rid of them.
100% spot on Stevie.
All we are hearing is not another penny which I agree with btw but we need something more stronger than this NOW not tomorrow, for me we need a buyer or a group of buyers and buy out DD and change the whole set up in the board.
