It is safe to say that he won’t be getting an invite to ‘do the lounges’ anytime soon at Celtic Park.

Brendan Rodgers gave it another boost before Nicholson stepped in to impose his managed decline and the wheels came off. Spectacularly.
With that in place Celtic accelerated into a weekend of chaos. So chaotic that Nicholson bottled out of attending the glamour friendly against Middlesbrough.
Essentially begging to come back for negligible money. A game changer. A title winner. Yet it’s beyond our axis of feeble.

The HMRC elephant in the room, why O’Neill won’t do walking away. No football manager spends a full weekend in June hosting Q and A events unless there is a real pressing need.

Look, it’s not all bad news.
Two weeks tonight Celtic play their first competitive match of the season. In a month they’ll be halfway through a Champions League Play Off.
CELTIC- THE MANAGED DECLINE THAT GOT OUT OF CONTROL
The squad is weaker than the one that finished last season.
The support is much further down the road to rebellion that they were a year ago. This time last year Kieran Tierney, Ben Nygren, Ross Doohan and Hayato Inamira had signed. Two starters alongside two questionable projects.
This year we have the added issue of Martin O’Neill cracking jokes with his boozy media mates in public.
Even if Celtic had signed six first team starters that policy would be cringe.
At the current time it is a bad bad look. Almost par for the course for a club increasingly detached from their anti-establishment customers.
The Celtic Chairman has been interim for more than six months.
There is no Head of Football Operations, Head of Recruitment or Professional Pathways Manager.
The backroom staff has lost Gavin Strachan and Greg Wallace with only Ross Grant joining the club.
Yogi won’t be short of content in the week ahead.

DD is coming to the end of his time on the blue marble.
He will not relinquish any control he may have, narcissists don’t do that, I would imagine dying narcissists even less so.
His lad will have been instructed to carry on the good work, and after the agm, he may be even more inclined to teach us pesky fans a lesson.
Just why does our club always end up in the hands of people like this?
The Bunnet took a broom to the place and yet here we are, in no better a place than we were before he saved us, apart from having cash in the bank of course, which doesn’t appear to be there to actually move the club forward.

While I’ll always be greatful that The Bunnet saved us it was after all The Bunnet that set up The PLC that appears to be immovable today…
He also took one helluva finiancial wedge for himself for his troubles…
That said – Once again, I’m extremely greatful that he saved us from the ignominy of death that the late ‘Rangers’ suffered !
