The Herald has launched a feel good story to pretend that Celtic are active in the transfer market.
Picking up on a story from Egyptian publisher Al Gomhuria The Herald claims that a huge bid has been made for Haissem Hassan.
The news comes hot on the heels of Sunday’s claim in The Sun that Celtic had resurrected their interest in Jasper Hogh of Bodo Glimt.
The Herald and The Sun both had reporters out in the Algarve last week. They were given daily access to the players and Martin O’Neill. But not Callum McGregor.
Rather than spend time talking to Callum McGregor the hoops boss opted for a night on the booze with his new found media pals.
Contrary to the reality surrounding the club the Herald has a good news story to share with Celtic fans.
They claim:

The problem is leaving it to Nicholson to get transfers off the starting line.

Any player manager or coach that Celtic approach will know Celtic are a toxic club to be avoided.
Agents just ignore them, you reap what you sow.
Logically, if the club has earned such a poor reputation amongst clubs and agents,
whilst Nicholson has publicly admitted ‘issues’ dealing with agents,
and whilst lowballing at every opportunity…
It’s going to be loans, loans and more loans?
And that doesn’t support the ‘selling model’ of the club, it’s not ideal for the support
or for team continuity,

I’m just thankful we’ve got one done, a board of chancers for sure, their luck will end eventually. It’s the damage they do to get that point, what will cause all of it to crash down around them?
I believe a trophy-less season would tilt the scales for most ST holding fans into not renewing their ST. That’s next season book renewal time obviously, way too late now.
Of course, sadly, you’re always going to get those that’ll buy it no matter what.
Losing 15/20k in season book money well; that’ll hurt them.
That’s enough to set the cat in amongst the pigeons imho, panic attacks abound.

Who did we negotiate with for the club bring in a fax machine,no doubt they will have to put a 10p coin into it to send the fax,if the offer gets boomeranged back they will be looking for a refund on the 10p.
