  1. The Herald had a reporter out in the Algarve last week ! That’ll burst it’s season’s football budget right there in one fell swoop . All for it’s tens of readers ! I hope the scoop brought back receipts …for even the cheapest and most inferior goods purchased ? Cos ‘ if you thought that the Celtic board are tight wads and penny counters …then ………

  2. Signing 1 player for a huge transfer isn’t going stop the fans from moaning to the board. If they think this will work they need their small minds checked

  3. Hassan, 24, has a £10 million release clause, but Celtic are hopeful of negotiating a lower fee despite interest from other clubs.

The Scottish Premiership champions’ initial £3.4 million offer was rejected, but they have now made a “huge” new offer,

The winger set up Mostafa Ziko for the second goal in the last 16 match against Argentina

So 10m release clause but we went in at £3.4 million ,and this wonder wingers so good we only tracked him after he set up a goal against the argies

fkn transfers by tv ,what they gonna do now the world cups finished

  4. Oh stop it ,really this is making us a complete laughing stock it really is an absolute chuckle brothers stuff , so let’s all applauded the season ticket holders who have made this all possible, so thanks , oh by the way Desmond has some magic beans on offer ,I’m sure he make sure you get them . Stop giving them your money or you are complicit in the destruction of our club

  5. The only business in the world where a NED is the sole decision maker, and an autocratic narcicist at that.

Why do we waste money on board, they are just cardboard cutouts and goffers.

  6. Any player manager or coach that Celtic approach will know Celtic are a toxic club to be avoided.
Agents just ignore them, you reap what you sow.

  7. Logically, if the club has earned such a poor reputation amongst clubs and agents,

whilst Nicholson has publicly admitted ‘issues’ dealing with agents,

and whilst lowballing at every opportunity…

It’s going to be loans, loans and more loans?

And that doesn’t support the ‘selling model’ of the club, it’s not ideal for the support

    or for team continuity,

BUT it is the cheapest option ?! 🙁

  8. I’m just thankful we’ve got one done, a board of chancers for sure, their luck will end eventually. It’s the damage they do to get that point, what will cause all of it to crash down around them?
I believe a trophy-less season would tilt the scales for most ST holding fans into not renewing their ST. That’s next season book renewal time obviously, way too late now.
Of course, sadly, you’re always going to get those that’ll buy it no matter what.
Losing 15/20k in season book money well; that’ll hurt them.
That’s enough to set the cat in amongst the pigeons imho, panic attacks abound.
Crazy coz I don’t want the team to fail, but ultimately the team failing will also set the process of replacing the board. Out with the old etc…
Cheers Joe, saw a comment elsewhere thought it might be you.
Telling them what’s what etc ?

  9. Who did we negotiate with for the club bring in a fax machine,no doubt they will have to put a 10p coin into it to send the fax,if the offer gets boomeranged back they will be looking for a refund on the 10p.
