Ryan Lee will referee Sunday’s match between Kilmarnock and Celtic even though the SFA would rather keep the appointment secret.
For years the SFA website would list the match officials for all of the weekend fixtures with a Tuesday morning update.
At any time fans could check out who was in charge of their team’s match. Premiership fans could also find out the VAR officials.
Now into season three of the shambles accelerated by Willie Collum the SFA have quietly abandoned that policy.
Keeping their failing officials out of the limelight. Fans can no longer check out who is in charge and their recent howlers.
Anyone checking on the SFA website for appointments will find the message below
This page is currently under construction in preparation for the new season. Please check back closer to the start of the season to find out the refereeing appointments.
The League Cup started on July 11. The SPFL on July 31. On August 5 the SFA are still keeping their match appointments secret.
All of the match officials involved know where they will be at the weekend. The clubs know who will be in charge of their matches.
Fortunately one Instagram account is in on the secret. Unfortunately they don’t list the VAR officials.

Lee is among the batch of Collum clones promoted way beyond their ability.
SFA RECUITMENT AND SECRETS
If you are a member of the Lanarkshire or Lanarkshire Refereeing Association you have a head start on anyone from Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee or Aberdeen.
One token official from each area is promoted to give the impression of inclusion.
The Highlands are represented by Douglas Ross. The failed former Tory leader has set the case for officials from that area back for decades.
Lee is a lifelong Hearts fan. He had a very difficult summer. Even the comfort offered by the Musselburgh Hearts Supporters Club didn’t help out much.
Last season he refereed two of Celtic’s home matches against Falkirk and the Scottish Cup tie against Dundee.
Celtic players will know that the Kilmarnock players will have license to put the boot in with little prospect of being yellow carded.
Celtic will likely have over 60% possession with Kilmarnock awarded most free kicks.
All of Collum’s clones referee to the same template.

GASLIGHTING.
Is anyone really surprised after the nonsense wi Beaton last season getting death threats and folk at his hoose?
They maybe think its best exact locations at exact times aren’t out in advance.
Revenge will be a dish best served ‘lukewarm’ by him on Sunday for the events of 16th April…
It’s fu**in happening I’ll tell ya !
