Watch the wondergoal from Celtic’s Camilo Duran that shocked Aberdeen

Celtic maintained their 100% start to the SPFL season with a 3-0 home win over Aberdeen.

All of the goals came in the first half with a lot to please Martin O’Neill with the way that his side is attacking with purpose.

Camilo Duran opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a brilliant left foot shot from 18 yards that flew high into the net.

The Columbian was scoring in his third successive domestic match, revelling in the striker role with Kasper Hogh out injured.

Duran provides a real focus to Celtic’s play, probing and testing defenders and having the confidence to score the spectacular as well as the mundane.

Twenty minutes later Ben Nygren doubled the score with a low shot from the same distance.

Aberdeen did hit the bar shortly before half-time but were soon 3-0 down when Yang Hyun-jun raced through on goal to slot the ball home.

There should have been more goals in the second half but as the transfer window comes to a close Celtic have certainly rediscovered their scoring edge.

During the second half half O’Neill was able to give debuts to Oliver Sorenson and Shim Mheuka.

The teenage Chelsea striker was only signed earlier today.

Attention quickly returns to transfer activity with an 11pm deadline for the Europa League squad.

With a requirement for four Academy players and four Scottish trained players O’Neill will have some tough decisions to make.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone was signed on loan from Wolves earlier today and was listed among tonight’s substitutes.
