Barry Ferguson suffered the final humiliation for losing the Tennents Sixes to Celtic when he turned up for Go Radio on Monday.
The previous weekend had turned into something of a nightmare for the staunchest of Ibrox legends.
Fielding the youngest squad in the tournament the Ibrox legends beat Celtic 7-1 in the group stage of the indoor event.
The gloating had only started.
For Andy Halliday the Sunday promised a third medal to add to their miserable Ibrox careers.
One to sit alongside their gongs from the 2016 Petrofac Cup and Championship victories.
It seems that there was an edge to the banter after that 7-1 defeat.
After some Saturday night team bonding Celtic returned to meet their city rivals in the final of the competition.
It was another high scoring thriller. Nine goals were shared with Celtic getting the edge to lift the trophy.
Ibrox bosses Ferguson and Ian Durrant weren’t amused. Kirk Broadfoot piled the blame on goalkeeper Lee Robinson. The dressing room clip went viral.

After we played Rangers there were a couple of incidents that kind of annoyed us. I know it’s a Tennents Sixes, you want to compete and you want to win.
The celebrations of goals, Charlie Adam was doing a couple of keepie-uppie at one stage.
As a football player and competitor when somebody starts taking the Mick it can get a wee bit heated.
Then the winner inside of you thinks ‘we need to step up here’. But your mind is telling you one thing and your body another, you are toeing a caravan.
He added:
We scored that late goal (to go 5-4 up in the final) and we knew we would win it. Then we celebrated.
Me and Barry had a wee handshake. Listen, I get on well with Barry, you know that. I think we need a wee cuddle. He is quite stiff, he is not a cuddly man. I need to give him a cuddle.
Yesterday the cuddle arrived, and Ferguson didn’t like it one little bit.

Mulgrew and Ferguson are the regular Monday pundits on the Go Radio phone-in. Last Monday Ferguson had other commitments.

As always, the one way narrative that is allowed to be formed by ex Sevco players and the sympathetic media.
Mulgrew saying at the 7-1 mauling there was plenty of snidey stuff from them, but god forbid u give some back when u beat them.
They really are pathetic little men.
Bankrupt Barry.
