Besiktas fans certainly made a mark at Celtic Park- including on each other.
Almost 3,000 fans of the Turkish side attended the Europa League tie and made their presence felt in the city.
Two weeks earlier Celta Vigo fans had the time of their life in Glasgow but there was a very different feel from the Besiktas supporters.
On Wednesday night there was an incident on Sauchiehall Street involving Turkish supporters which seemed to put the Police on high alert.
During the day various videos emerged of Besiktas fans marching around Glasgow’s Merchant City.
From social media they seemed to be hoping to clash with Celtic fans but the match was a big turn off for thousands of home supporters.
No Celtic fans were getting worked up or bothered about a match when their own club make nothing but a token effort to compete in European matches.

BESIKTAS FANS MAKE THEIR MARK
As dark came down the Besiktas fans gathered in the Trongate to march to Celtic Park.
There was plenty of chanting, fireworks, pyro and Police as they made their way towards the stadium.
Outside Celtic Park security was high as the Turkish supporters made their presence felt.
During the first half there was more activity among the away supporters than on the pitch.
Celtic fans barely bothered with their noisy visitors. Attention was on the pitch as Celtic reacted to going behind to make an impression on the match. The goals flowed from the substitutes.
On the pitch things were happening for Celtic, the activities in the away section were only a sideshow.
As the second half developed the Besiktas fans were denied the win on the pitch that they were looking for.
Celtic’s next Europa League visitors will be Marseilles in January- another club with a lively and expressive support.
It’s safe to say that the Besiktas fans were quite a feisty bunch. Not only did they cause trouble last night and during the game but they also clashed with the polis at the start of their corteo.
Very reminiscent of the time Ajax fans visited Celtic Park. https://t.co/Qcp7PyZ5Ew
