Gary Lineker was thrilled by Celtic’s 5-0 power show against Astana.
The former England striker presented coverage of the match for BT Sport and couldn’t have been more impressed by the way that the hoops dismantled their opponents.
On Tuesday night Liverpool earned a nervy 2-1 win away to Hoffenheim to put a deposit down on a group place but Celtic left nothing in doubt as they turned on the style.

It took the bhoys till the 32nd minute to break the deadlock when a Tom Rogic shot was touched into his own net by Evgeni Postnikov.
Scott Sinclair added a double either side of half time before late strikes from James Forrest and a deflection of Igor Shitov from a Leigh Griffiths shot completed a perfect night for the hoops.
Celtic can expect to bank at least £30m from taking part in the group phase with the hoops set to make significant moves into the transfer market.
Securing a deal for Patrick Roberts will be a priority but after the win over Astana there will be no shortage of players looking to experience the magic of Champions League nights at Celtic Park.
