During his five years managing Celtic it wasn’t difficult to come to the conclusion that Martin O’Neill wasn’t a huge fan of the Scottish media.
In the main he kept his views civil, meeting all of his contractual obligations, being polite and giving away as little as possible.
Over the last week there seems to have been a distinct change of attitude from the former Celtic and Ireland boss.
On the back of his appearance on Sky Sports for their coverage of the Glasgow Derby the Irishman decided to make an appearance on Go Radio. Who could ever have seen O’Neill being part of a radio phone-in show with Barry Ferguson.

Should Roy Keane be the next Celtic manager
Yes, exactly what we need
No, never. We need to get serious
For those wishing to put together a jigsaw O’Neill’s last two management roles have involved him being assisted by Roy Keane at Ireland and Nottingham Forest.
Over the last few days more and more signals seem to be pointing to the former Sunderland boss becoming the next Celtic manager.
With O’Neill visible again perhaps one persuasive voice is breaking Celtic fans in for Keane the Manager fronting the Season Ticket Renewal campaign?
