Moi Elyounoussi turned in another masterclass as Celtic destroyed Livingston 6-0.

In the dark days of January when Celtic had players forced to self-isolate the ‘Lions’ enjoyed back-to-back draws but there was no prospect of a repeat.

James Forrest opened the scoring on the half hour mark but after that it was Elyounoussi who took over as Livingston’s tormentor in chief.

The on-loan Southampton winger created space on the left for Celtic’s second goal, there may have been some luck about the deflection but it was instinct that took David Turnbull into the six yard box to convert the chance.

Following an own goal Elyounoussi showed his class with two contrasting goals. Firstly, a well placed curling drive from 20 yards out before a deft chip over Robbie McCrorie following a classic surging run from Kris Ajer.

Ryan Christie wrapped the scoring up in the closing minutes as the Celtic side gave the watching fans a glimpse of what might have been from a season of frustration.
