The real Phil Clement revealed himself to the English media yesterday.
Since arriving at sleepy Norwich City last November Clement has been as dull as dishwater.
Exactly as he was at Ibrox when he replaced the master of cliches Micky Beale in the dug-out.
Four months later Clement was as mad as a bag of frogs as he consumed the Ibrox paranoia with wild claims.
CLEMENT- THE LOSERS LOSER
That led to moral victories over Celtic and fist pumping Laps of Honour after a 3-3 draw with the champions elect.
Clement totally lost the plot when he jumped from behind a desk to demonstrate karate kicks after a VAR decision had gone against his team.
On week one of the Championship season Norwich conceded a goal to West Brom that clearly involved handball.
With no Premiership fixtures the decision has received plenty of media attention.
On Friday with the media back at sleepy Norwich Clement decided to demonstrate what a mad-cap character he is.
Has he done his ‘Penalty Dance’ yet?

Clement spent seven minutes centered around listing 71 countries that use VAR.
As a deflection tactic to losing 2-1 at home it was a classic. Clearly his time at Ibrox wasn’t wasted.
The Belgian Beale was sacked in February 2025 after back to back home defeats to Queens Park and St Mirren.
He did last 16 months and 86 matches in charge at Ibrox. More than the combined tenures of Russell Martin and Danny Rohl.
After his VAR listing Clement is viewed as something of a freak by the English media.
During his time at Ibrox he was tipped to move on to the manager’s job of the Belgian national team.
Of course that never happened. Whether he survives at Norwich through to his first anniversary in the job remains to be seen.
Norwich fans can look forward to much more of the same as their manager is viewed as a figure of fun.
