Jim Goodwin will be missing from the St Mirren dug out against Celtic tomorrow after returning a positive test.

The Irishman is in his third season as Saints boss, last season they won at Celtic Park and reached the semi-finals of both domestic cup competitions.

Assistant manager Lee Sharp, who spent the bulk of his playing career at Dumbarton and Stranraer will be in charge tomorrow as Saints go looking for their first SPFL win of the season.

Last Saturday St Mirren were knocked out of the Premier Sports Cup by Livingston after a penalty shoot-out. In the league they drew their opening match away to Dundee before losing 2-1 at home to Hearts.

Celtic will be hoping to have Ryan Christie available again after missing the last two matches through injury, Willie Collum will be in charge with a win almost certain to send Celtic to the top of the SPFL table ahead of Sunday’s fixtures.
