Ange Postecoglou has revealed that he couldn’t keep Kyogo Furuhashi out of his League Cup Final side!
Ten days ago the striker was substituted at home to Real Betis with instant fears that Celtic’s leading scorer would be out of action until the new year.
Since the win over the Spanish side there has been constant speculation about the fitness of Kyogo who missed the narrow wins over Motherwell and Ross County.

At lunchtime today a picture surfaced on social media of the player dressed for action as he left Celtic’s pre-match hotel with the prospect of being involved strengthened when he checked out the pitch at Hampden with his team-mates.
At 1.45pm the Celtic team was announced with Kyogo leading the line. After a quiet first half he wrote his name into the history books with a brilliant doubt to get Celtic back on the trophy trail with the promise of more to follow.
